I have been toying with the Output volume, Rig volume, Amp volume and SC channel gain for a while, and it is all very workable now. I have refined the settings from above to suit the guitar, song and effects. The Main Output volume was simply an essential piece of the puzzle about which I was ignorant. They say ignorance is bliss, but this is certainly an exception to that rule!!
