I had one Plek'd about a year ago. The quite marginal improvement in setup was not worth the cost, at least not to me: I could have achieved the same results in an hour with my normal tools. But, I wanted to try it to see what the hype was about and now I don't have to wonder any more.
I have heard a lot of bad press on the PLEK process due to unskilled operators. It's not just a machine you lay a guitar in and get a perfect setup out...

Got it done by Westwood, they're about as highly-rated as a PLEK provider comes. It did improve the guitar, but ever so slightly over my own setup (and I had put a new nut on that guitar) so it just didn't seem worth it to me, but that being said, if you were someone that wasn't comfortable with or able to do you own setups I think it would make a vast improvement.
