I got some Sunn speakers gifted to my by Hackmaster, man, must of been two years ago. I've been storing them away for a good project. Well, I've been wanting a 2x12 vertical cab for a while and ran across one on Craigslist that had no speakers. Decided to mod it a bit and wire it for parallel/series with parallel/ series daisy chain for both speakers, and mono for each speaker with the top speaker able to be daisy chained in parallel or series. The speaker are isolated so a stereo amp could be used. The should provide 4/16 ohm for both speakers or 8 ohm each in mono.
I had to get more #10 truss head screws for the grill - which I ordered on eBay. Two weeks later I gave up on them arriving, got a refund, and bought some from Amazon.
Thought I was putting it together today - oops - didn't double check the speaker gaskets. The is a front mount and the speakers have the gasket on the wrong side for the cab. So, ordered speaker gasket stuff from Amazon today.
Figured I'd share a couple pics of the speakers I got from Hack and the cab I picked up - still in parts...
