Camping season is over for another year for my Wife and I. We both wonder where the last 5 months has gone. Well we had a good Spring ,Summer and now are back home for fall and winter. We had a lot of memorable times with friends and family. Did some singing and playing at campfires, now its back to start off some gigs starting the end of this month through March of next year, then will be starting back camping in April 2019. I have found since I retired that the time even goes faster than when I was working. Cant believe how fast each day goes by! Well I hope you all had a wonderful Summer and hope to see you around on TTR. Keep smiling and start changing those strings more often.

I hear ya S5, it's a sad day until next year. As a matter of fact I drained the water in the water heater, supply tank, and added anti-freeze in the sinks, potty chair, and the supply tank. Gonna tarp it tomorrow.

Move to the swamps, It's still summer. 90's every day.
It may cool off by the end of November. And by cool, I mean low 80's and if we're really lucky mid 70's.
A cold day for us swamp dwellers is in the 50's.
That's jacket time down here...

Well it's good your back me Godin brother or my little druggy. Now you can spend more time on here again. Summer sure did go by fast. The older you get the more time seems to fly if you ask me.

Yup, I feel the same way. It's all about perception. A child has only a short amount of time to measure by. The older we get, the more time we have behind us to use in the measuring.

Heck, So Cal has 4 seasons - sun, fire, mudslides and earthquake. Never gets below 40. 330 days of sunshine. Maybe 14-20 rain days a year. .

Things have got to be pretty bad for me to even notice. No above the radar here, I would fly into a mountain even if it plopped on my face to club me. I live in a shell that even I missed on the way in.
I'm have been out of the way and like it. Not knowing what end is up is fine.
I still play and listen to the same music as when I was 9 not 19 and l still like the Beatles.
I never wanted to change the course of a river, just keep my feet dry.
