[Session 5]

This is a pick of my award winner, she is retired now, she only had a few flights. It was the fastest build i have ever done, back in 2009. I worked on it Saturdays 12 hours, Sunday 12 hours, Mon, Tues , Wed, Thurs, Fridays 5 hours each night after work 49 hours a week . After 6 weeks it was completed, a total of 294 hours. Many people would build a plane like this in 5 months or longer. I sent in a few pics of her to one of the Modeling magazine company's, a few weeks later the Editor contacted me , She told me they were going to publish the plane in their upcoming mag, I was so surprised as they get many entries, She told me i would be receiving a hat and some glue, It was an Honor for me, that they chose my plane. Below is a picture of the wing when it was being built and a copy of the plans.

Boy does that bring back memories. My dad flew planes. Control line in the beginning graduating to RC. Seeing the plans and the naked wing sitting on your bench, I can almost smell the glue.

Thanks guys it was a challenging build , but i was very pleased with the outcome.
