Brats!!!

So, I had never actually made Brats on the grill before. They were something that I just never got around to. Well, am I sorry that I didn't! Great stuff, and seemed easy enough!

Sautéed some onions, and garlic...throw in some sour kraut and peppers and stuff...don't forget some fairly local IPA.

Cook em up good, and then cleanse them with fire a bit...

Oh yeah! Good stuff indeed!
Good time too! They went fast once the neighbors got a whiff...

Ya i love bbq brats.ive recently switched to sweet itailian turkey brats but the Johnsonvilles great.Enjoy,looks yummy.

Gotta be careful grilling brats. I have a friend that was doing brats one night. Ignored them a bit too long. Came back to grill and the brats were actually on fire. They had burgers instead.

At the "cleanse them with fire" stage, things started to get out of control a bit. I had to close the lid, and lid vent for a few seconds to regain control of the situation.
I can only imagine what would have happened if left unattended.

I am, after all, known as "Captain Napalm" in certain parts....this is why I have chosen charcoal, and/or wood to grill with...
Me and propane, together, are "not appreciated" in several counties around here...plus I have home owners insurance premiums to keep under control.
