I like thrash, like a lot of those bands you mentioned. But after about 6 bands, its the same thing onward with who can play fastest and nothing memorable. Whats the point in playing a million miles per hour if it just sounds like an angry bumblebee and has no hook? Lol
If you look at it that way whats the point of playing sloooooooooow so you can fall asleep ? Or playing so slow you get moss aand spider webs till you get to end of the song…. Yawning all the way through…. God hate us all….. it’s memorable , seeeeeeeeeraching seek n destroy…. catchy….. peace seeeeeeeell but who’s buying???? Catchy….its more than a speed and you know that…. I saw Slayer as one of the headliners at Mayhemfest 2009 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Tom Araya forgot the lyrics to Angel of Death and just smiled as the crowd booed. They were only playing a 70 min set , he stood like a statue and he was 48 years old
