some sound clips (by someone that can actually play!)

From what I can find these were a 1 and done deal----- (with factory P90's) 1 year 2018 --- and PFFT gone ;)

and -- its BROWN --

Im happy as a lark TBTH grinning like a loon and CRANKING some ORANGE (yes Norm) with Gibbo P90's ---- RIGHTEOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOPE slug free Baby---

now for a FOOL Review ;)

--- its wicked stupid awesome goodness---

no its not a "REAL" firebird in that its not neck through---for the purists lets get that done straight away--
and -- NO it doesnt have BANJO TUNERS (suppose I could add them) -- why the grovers work--

now -- on to the meat and po-ta-toes

its light--- (yes)
and has a FAST thin neck
low frets -- (not 70's Les Paul Recording low--- but certainly not fat jumbos)
its plays and sits perfectly --
feels more SG-ish than .....well this thing did

WHile I still contest the Epi Firbird V with Vibrola is hands down one of the MOST GORGEOUS LOOKING INSTRUMENTS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was a bear to play--- heavy (and I play BASS!!) ---awkward-- the vibrola was annoying-- and the triple mini hums were.........un inspiring -----but it just LOOKED SO DAMN GOOD -- I mean really

@Sp8ctre I believe can back me up on this ---- it was/is a TRULY amazing LOOKING guitar-- but not great to play

this -------- this "Studio" version --- Im floored really-- its SO comfortable to play -- its just "moved right in" and feels like part of the heard within minutes---
I have had a couple other "off brand" or China COPY Firebirds

I can attest to that! But, the guy I sold it to loved it and damn could he play!

Congratulations on your new axe Adrian, those are special instruments for sure.
Once the newness has wore off I can be expecting it in the next month?? ;)

My Bird always served me well, but those banjo tuners are burdensome. Also the neck feels so long that I'm always fretin 2/3 frets high w/o looking! The 64' I played for years yielded so much $ it was silly not to sell it. FB VII in Cardinal red. But this one gets the business done …. after you replace the 11K ohms pickups that never came in a firebird, with real ones! And I'll be the first to say a Firebird is an acquired taste.
