Like I've been saying for many, many moons - if you like it, play it - don't matter if your a beginner, a pro, or somewhere in between. Some times you might have to draw the line - a strat with three single coils generally doesn't go over well in the hard core metal - but, then again, I imagine there is more than one person doing it
