Billiards anyone?

Chilli, I wasn't familiar with joss cues...they look nice.

My dad is the one who handed down the table to me. He got it used from someone at work back in the day. ...probably on a deal of some sort.

I remember DAD's friend would take me fishin, he would take me golfing, and other friend's dad's took us to car shows.
My dad DID however take me to a few Baseball games which I also loved going to. He n mom fought all the time and got divorced. The best thing he gave me came when I got a stepdad. He was the role model any son could ask for smarts and caring for wife and family wise.

Dang Bocc........ Many pro's used Joss's is how I found them.

Read this somewhere.

Dan has placed cues in the hands of many of the members of the BCA Hall of Fame (Mike Sigel, Eddie Taylor, Nick Varner, Jim Rempe, the late Jimmy Moore, Luther Lassiter, Minnesota Fats, Jimmy Caras and Joe Balsis), plus a roster of active competitors that reads like a who's who of pool.

Yea, some BIG names there. I'm sure I've heard of those cues at some point, but I have a way of forgetting things.

The best gadget I've come across for any subject, based on price, value and functionality, is the magic rack. Thing is unreal. Essentially it's just a flimsy piece of plastic. But functionally it's an awesome rack that you leave in place as you break. You can play over it, but usually it can be removed just after break.

It cost only about $10 for an 8ball, or a couple extra to incude a 9/10ball combo rack. I highly recommend it.

Here's my 9/10 combo...you can see it underneath. 20190425_192438-1494x2656.jpg

I haven't played in eons, but used to have a table and 9 ball was my fav. I was OCD and would rack them like your pic except the 5 & 6 would be swapped so the numbers were ALWAYS in order (of course with the 9 in the center).

Me too !! We would side bet on the 5 and 6 on the break !!
So …… Relating to guitar playing …… Attack of the String is a bit like Stick Control … at least in terms of push or draw …… …… now , Masse’ , that’s would be interesting!!!
