Digging through old files here at the studio and found this project. In December 2018, we were contracted to create a complete rehearsal/performance track for a client of Dio's Holy Diver. We completed this project in just a couple of hours worth of work. I used my 2016 Gibson Les Paul through my Blackstar ID-Core 100 and that into the console. I am playing all guitars and bass on this tracks. Bass was done on a studio-owned Schecter 4 string through a Behringer V-amp Pro rack mount. Editing/mixing was done in Pro-Tools. This is an outtake of the solo section before final mixdown.
The thing that really impressed me with this song was the intricacy of the rhythm guitar work behind the solo. I listened to it over and over to make sure I replicated it as close as possible in technique. I also tried to remain faithful to the original arrangement, yet slip in a few things that let's you know it's unique.
Enjoy!!!
