My first ever SG was an SGJ that I traded a parts-tele for. I hated the weird blackout 490r/t pickups it had so I put in ‘57 Classics.
At some point it got traded or sold to fund another purchase.

Most EVERYTHING was changed--- "under the Hood" by Hackaster (its been swimming pool routed ) and had 3 P90's at one point (and a Bigsby) -custom Hackmaster GLOSS refin --its smooth as a babies arse now
then it came here (sans Bigsby and 1 Pup) I tweaked a couple things (minor) and then felt (thanks to Chasfreed) I needed a Bigsby again......and well so----during TROPICAL STORM NESTOR I decided to udnertake the VERY easy instal -- Hell took me longer to STRING IT UP! and well there ya go

Id say its one of the TOP SGJ's around for sure

On the one hand, SGJ's are awesome guitars, I seriously regret selling the one I had, and that finish job is stupendous.
On the other hand, I cannot in good conscience condone a Bigsby, ever, and humbuckers are cooler than P-90's.

So, I'm going with NO on the coolest ever question, but it is sweet, and of course my opinions are, as always, completely meaningless. Play what you want.

well sonically --- I HAVE an SG with 2 humbuckers.......and 1 with 1 Humbucker....and one with a "P" pup and a MUDBUCKER--so P90's was a texture of a different flavor ---

To be fair BEST ever was TOTAL CLICK BAIT lol
