Been wanting to try one of these. Vox MV50

There's one of these for sale here, a Vox MV50 Clean including the 1x8 cabinet. All for $100 and I've been wanting to try one for a long time. I'm not sure if I'm trying to talk myself into it, or out of it.

They sound great, The clean one are the best !

I have a vox amp, love it. If you like British tone, can’t go wrong with vox, almost neck and neck with orange in my opinion.

For the amp and the cabinet $100 is a good price if you want to try one out. I had one when they first released it and it was fun for a while.
Nothing really stands out that I remember. Just a fun little desktop amp for me to use at work. I didn't have that VOX cab so I don't know about it?

I had the BASS version of the NUTUBE



IT didnt "suck" for waht it was -- but -- irt was no Hartke --- so like all other bass amp attempts it went bye bye ....

You know I have had that Hartke for almost 10 years -- longest lived piece of kit Ive ever owned.......
1.it sounds great
2. -- its just BLEEDING WORKS --no B.S. -- no hyperbole no games.....NO MAITINENCE --- it just WORKS -- every time all the time ZERO ISSUES

the VX50ba was impressive-- as a small home/apartment bass amp-- it sounded great -- good LOW tone

IT didnt SUCK -- it just didnt cut the mustard for ME
others may LOVE them.
with low and high muid cut-- and COMPRESSION built in and DRIVE with nice "tube ish" saturation -- it really wasnt bad as an Elf on the Shelf bass amp

Well, i bought it, it's being shipped so we'll see when it turns up. I have a small second pedal board that is currently unoccupied so I'm thinking about setting it up there together with my currently unused Boss Blues Driver and I'll steal the delay from the other board. With the 1x8 it'll make for a nice, portable 25 watt rig to take to rehearsels. Whenever they resume again...

I think it will be good for what you are trying to do with it. It's not terrible and you got a really great price! You'll get your money back if you decide to sell...
