"Australia's first multi-purpose tool designed specifically for the barbecue - you can't go wrong with the BAR•B MATE!

The Specification
The BAR•B Mate lifts, serves, slices, pierces, and scrapes.

Straight cutting edge and prongs for piercing sausages.

Available at Coles, Woolworths, Metcash, Big W, Bunnings, Masters and selected hardware stores."

The advertising blurb fails to mention the beer bottle opener cutout at the back end.

My tool of choice is the now apparently discontinued, Bar B Boss which is longer, has a few more prongs and the cutting edge is serrated rather than flat, for an all 'round more menacing disposition!
It intimidates meat into throwing itself onto the barbie and cooking itself in double quick time :rolf:

All hail The Boss!!!!

Though all truth be told, I use BBQ tongs more than this, but it is good for scraping down the hot plate!

Barbi is also a published composer and accomplished pianist who sang and played on several albums and who's song "Ain't that just the way" has been a #1 hit in Sweden and recorded by many artists.
