Bandsaw recommendations

Don’t rule out old saws from the fifties that can be found on Craigslist. I got this ‘51 Craftsman belt drive bench top model for $125.00 about ten years ago. Bought it from the original owner’s son. He said his father used it for making bird houses. It can cut 12.5” deep by 4.5” tall. Parts are readily available, as are blades. When I cooked the original motor(cutting pressure treated 4x4s), I got another the next day at Grainger. I do all my guitar bodies and necks, as well as other stuff with this.

The Delta is a belt drive the motor fried under warranty it took 1 1/2 years to get the replacement China trash.

It put me in a bind massive orders the Laguna HD-16 saved me 5HP Baldor motor 240 VAC it paid for it self in a week.
I have some really good motors on my tools. Baldor comes to mind,. I forget what my Powermatic Shaper had. It was 220v I know that.
