Band Practice for First Show.

The jam space we are in ahs rafts of amps n cabs there for other people. I have been using the Katana for most rehearsals but today wanted to get the sound set for an online show this comjng Thurs. So I just set the JVM up on a cab on the side and ran the litrle 6912 1x12 closed back. Sounds really good, less crap to haul.
I used the Godin mainly because it has the acoustic with the piezo for a couple songs. I gotta say, that lightweight guitar is fantastic! Never fell at all outta tune, I play fairly hard, can go from acoistic soumds to full on electric that easily rivals amy of my LPs or any other guitar I own for that matter.
Haven't even practiced it with the synth yet. Great combination! Will have an onljne show on Thurs.

I'll ppst details. Sadly no. One can no longer post on FB live entertainment. Stupidest thing ever. It will be, oddly, a Zoom meeting. I will post the zoom link here on this thread. The good news is it is being recorded amd will be available on a Burlesque Society website. Its a fundraiser.
We can probably post the recording later on the you tube channel.

Zoom sucks. We had our issues. Had 4 weeks to get new drummer up to snuff plus do the tech things for online practiving omce a week.
There were tiiming issues, vox issues, other girl guitar issues...
Overall ok tho. We had fun! Bass sounds good kn the recordings

So I will post some videos from it. We recorded vox mixed at board and run into one input on Zoom handy recorder. Mic picked up all imstrumemts. Woild be nice to mix them thru mixer as well but no time to piss with all of that. Will pick the better songs.
So that audio gets used with the video. Sounds way better than online.

Since it's the pandemic this was a "night out" for Mrs. Steve and I, and we just had a blast.

Glad we signed up for the Zoom, was totally for a great cause.

Don't miss @Jethro Rocker vids when posts them guys, was an excellent night, he has got hisself quite a good band right there.

Once again bro, thanks for the fun night, we BBQ'd and drank and...... lol
 
Here is a link to a compilation from one of my cover bands, Torchwood. This gal really has some pipes! Fantastic! She jad her 3rd kid about 18 months ago and with Covid we haven't gotten together yey. I do look forward to that again, The HD version is till processing.
The other band is coming later. It's all just for fun, I play whatever I like and enjoy it!
