Yesterday was our first long rehearsal since my back issue/exhaustion flare up. We put in 9 hours, all of it standing. Man, it felt good to be back. I got home around midnight and this morning, Im feeling great!!!

So, we are up to 19 songs now.

They want me to add a guitar solo. I personally hate guitar solos. But i thought that resurrecting Carlos Cavazos' "Battleaxe" would be a way to keep things 'short & sweet' so to speak, and in that 80's vein.

Most intimidating song is "The Ripper," when i am playing the ascending phrase 'acapela' on guitar.

Since our recent switch to E flat, im using my homemade Les Paul Custom for this project to keep from retuning my Floyd Rose guitars.

Ive already worn the gold plating off the Nashville roller bridge, so i bought a replacement with 4mm brass pins.

I bought an aluminum Nashville for the doubleneck, because it tends to collapse the zinc ones on the 12 string side.

I am also switching the home-built doubleneck to 4mm bridhe pins just to give it a more authentic look.

I used this really wide, black fabric strap i got from Adrian on the doubleneck yesterday. Its very heavy, ballistic fabric with an encapsulated padded section for the top of your shoulder.

Really comfortable!!!!

That is a long time to stand an play. I stand all day at work and move about quite a bit, but to just stand in one place with little movement, my right leg will go south, same thing driving home from work, after the 2 hour mark
I want to pull over and stretch them.
Good on ya Robert!!
