Back in Black the story

pffft. That band died with Bon Scott. Everything after him has sucked. Bad.

They changed when Bon passed. I still dug very much the music they made with Brian.

I guess, because I have been "the substitute" in so many band situations, I'm sympathetic to the "new guy" you might say , but as much as I loved the Bon era, I still get excited when I hear "Let Me Put My Love Into You" and "For Those About To Rock..."

I loved the Bon Scott stuff--- but-- lets give Brian some credit--he has been there for what THIRTY EIGHT YEARS---(longer than Bon was on the planet) -- cranking out albums--- touring--- I ASSUME helping write ...I mean... come on he at least has one thing---- longevity!
its not like he made one album with them and the band went under. (hes not YOKO for Christ sake)
Malcolm was and always has been the driving force behind AC/DC --- with Angus being the ultimate front man---

I like both version of AC/DC pre and post Bon-- however I really dont see it in those terms--- I like AC/DC --- if the songs good its good--

Yup.

Plus, I suppose, though, if the Bon era was really that much better, the rest of the band could always ask him to join back up, right?

Oh...wait...

I had to see if there were AC/DC threads, and this one's for you, Smitty.
I was looking for some Triumph Video footage from a show they did here in Baltimore in the early 80's and came across an AC/DC show complete with BON that was performed at TOWSON STATE College, Now Towson Univ ( I still can't get used to that) I even heard that Pat Travers opened for AC/DC.
