I was digging around some of my late bass player's videos trying to find something we had done in the past, and stumbled on this gem. Back when I actually practiced and played out all the time, here we are with my friend Tony on second guitar doing a long Dictators version of Mott the Hoople's "The Moon Upstairs." One of the rare occasions I was playing my mongrel '62 Strat live. I knew Tony would be playing a Gibson with his band after us and wanted to mix it up. I also live very close to the venue and could bring extra guitars. I wish I brought something a bit louder than my Deluxe Reverb that night.
