Some people say a bass amp should sit right on the stage because the connection to the floor will somehow amplify it. In my experience all that does is make your tone boomy and muddy, making yourself effectively harder to hear. I like isolation for how it tightens up the sound and allows me to pick out the sound of my instrument at a much lower volume. It just makes for better sound. And this one works gre

My kid has a 400w bass head. Cabinet with 4 - 10” speakers. It’s pretty nice. I can’t play my Ovation plugged into my 20w Traynor without getting feedback…. Which is cool if that’s what you want. I’d heard bass amps make good acoustic amps so I plugged in one day. Don’t remember where I had the master and gain on the amp, but I had the guitar dimed. Zero feedback. Boy was it loud. It sounded really nice!!
