I had a MGB- GT and an XKE that both had wood mallets for their Rudge hubs...I still have Whitworth tools from that period.

I've fixed similar breaks by sinking a pair of studs into the neck heel, drilling the body and bolting it all back together.

I've owned 3 MGs and used to work on an MG-TD using Whitworths. Both of these were basket cases when I bought. Gotta love Lucas...
