Guitars are like Jello. "There's always room for more."Not me. I have two electrics, one I never play, and as much as I’ve played my Zencaster I still haven’t wrung everything out of it. Another guitar would just make me think I was playing different stuff when I’m not. I think in my old age I’m really getting dedicated to the idea that learning one guitar extraordinarily well is almost a spiritual practice… or at least tickles the brain centers that make us think something “spiritual” is happening.
I’m trying to make guitar playing into a Zen exercise, like Zen painting. Play just enough and nothing extra.

I have 4 electrics. An acoustic. And a bass. Been playing the bass a bit more lately, but I do cycle thru the other 5 as the mood hits since they all have a different voice. Just depends on the mind set which gets picked up and played. Not me. I have two electrics, one I never play, and as much as I’ve played my Zencaster I still haven’t wrung everything out of it. Ditto.Nope. Not a Billy.
I don't get guitars just for the sake of having them.
