Assume for a moment that I've lost my mind and had an interest in one of these:

Anyone have one and how do you like it?

I have one. Nice guitar. I have it setup for slide right now. I can't play slide but I keep trying. You have to play with the tone and volume controls. You will be amazed at the different sounds you can pull out of that thing. I played live with it a few a few times. It was pretty awesome. I took some ribbing from the other players but I was pretty happy with it. It could use new tuners. Other than tuners I wouldn't change a thing. If you can find the set neck version they are even better. I played the set neck while browsing a store on the other side of the country. Didn't want the hassle of taking it on the plane and the store didn't want to ship it even though I offered to pay them extra.

Thanks, Kerry, I'm looking at it for a knock about axe to take to jams, etc. I like that tobacco burst, but will probably look for a TV yellow, a color that doesn't grace my current pallet of guitars.

Nice guitar Kerry Brown.
I can't play slide either, but when I tune to say open E, I almost sound like a legit slide player!

Do it Biddlin. They are good fun (though I don't own one, I have played a few) and not expensive.

I have the sg verson of that but it had a HB. Some say the tuners are good enough.
I say hardware and electronics, controls, etc are good enough.
The nut, neck, fretwork, and neck to body fitment are really good on mine.
Very nice playing guitar.
