Any fellow Dojo members here?

I very much like Ford's playing, and will shamelessly admit to copping from his vast pool of coppable stuff...but I'd not heard of his place of practice until now...tell me more...or rather ...
motto dozo!

Not a member...but I've sat and played with Robben a few times. Generous and patient. And an effing monster at making music.
I’m letting my membership lapse. I had a huge epiphany about my guitar playing (as a result of the Dojo), and as delicious as Robben’s playing is… that’s him. Not me. I have my own licks. It’s been great getting to know him via the Zoom Hangs, but it’s really just hero worship on my part. And you know what they say: “If you meet the Buddha on the road, strike him down.”

I’m finding my own new path in jazz/blues, and I’m completely digging it.

I'm not but if there's a chance to learn something from Robben, I'm in. Going to check that site out.

I played with Robben back in the 80's. I was playing my Strat into his Dumblized 66 Deluxe Reverb. Robben was playing a Dano through a Magnatone.

Playing through Robben's amp...I sounded just like me. Robben...playing through that Magnatone and Dano...sounded just like Robben.

The sound follows the music the player makes.

Absolutely. When I attended Robben’s seminar in Ojai, he admired the SG I’d brought and I handed it to him. He plugged it straight into the Deluxe Reverb and sounded just like Robben Ford. His phrasing is mind blowing when you see him up close.
