And today in Central Fl------

I am choosing my property wisely..into building a compound now vs being on the water...

I actually went out during the rain while we where there & observed 2 we had on our list...1 right away off list..way too much saturation to deal with..next one...nice & dry ..seems up a few feet higher in elevation

I be looking at that swamp soil,,,the sand...the lil dirt in with it.....is it a swamp 24/7 or does it dry quick...

Mine dries quickly, I am thankful that I do not have to worry...
I also get a dump truck load of good soil/sand every spring and spread it over and it does me well..
Cheap too...
kinda picked up on that real quick...choosing in FL really got to check some things...noticed some areas are prone to flooding..Sebring isnt bad but you can see the "over Swampy" properties

yes-- after living in the KEYS -- I "assumed" 197' above Sea LEvel (Lakeland) as apposed to --- 3' above sea Level (Big Pine Key) would mean NO flooding---- uhm-- WRONG
have studied some stuff. about FL..looks like some interesting stuff was done or not done as they just started developing randomly ...if they did it right ..it could be canals everywhere as an actual relief valve...i would boat & park the car..could of been the new Venice with more land..lol
