I'm amazed at guys like @Don O and @syscokid and their amp knowledge. I was just a parts replacer.

I wish I had more knowledge of the working parts and trouble shooting of amps like a lot of folks here do. Ironically, I'm an electrician by trade but that doesn't translate to electronics repair. Two very different worlds lol

That’s why I asked here and then took it to a tech after the terms and procedures outline here were beyond me.

Yeah. They were super cool. Best part is they are only about 30 minutes away from my house.

That's a great ability to have in your back pocket! It's awesome if you have a great tech within less than hour, it's even better if it's a legendary builder!

My dilemma here is I'm a minimum of 2+hrs from any tech and thats only two, one being in another state

I’m not an amp guy at all. I didn’t even know these guys were so well known.
Whenever you guys start talking amp tech. I am completely lost.
I read along and follow the thread. But it may as well be an alien language half the time.
