V2 Denogginizer

- 50W from 2xEL34.
- Single-channel preamp with 4 gain stages (plus cathode follower to drive tone stack). Front-panel toggle switches to lower gain.
- Heyboer power transformer; Hammond output transformer and choke
- DC heaters for preamp
- Elevated AC heaters for power amp
- individual bias measurement and adjustment for each EL34
- Cliff jacks and alpha pots
- 500V radial caps
- low-noise grounding scheme and layout

Pricing (USD):
$900 for fully working chassis with tubes
$150 for buffered effects loop (installed)
$250 and up for head cab

who did the boards? Are they made in Canada?
are you using plated through holes?
I need a board that can be soldered over and over without the tracks peeling up...that 's the one thing I can't stand about ordinary pc boards.
 
I designed the boards and had them manufactured by Seeed fusion. The pads won't withstand too much ham-fisted soldering, but I do use these boards for prototyping and component swapping...

What “flavour” of amp is this? I suspect with the EL34s and a choke that it is in the Marshall zone?
