Ahhh... The joys of moving.

Hi kids! Thankfully I am just one guy who's cat ran away over 8 weeks ago.

Moving sucks but needs to be done at this time.

But one of the neat things about moving and trying to pare down the crap you have accumulated over the years can yield some treasures.

I found my broken mxr distortion pedal and my long lost Sovtek Small Stone! The Phaser still works but I am missing the face plate and such. No big deal, I can still use it!

The MXR was my only distortion pedal until it died and I was forced to buy the Rat.

I also found this little beauty! I had wanted a copy since it came out in the 80's I think. I finally found a copy in a second hand book store a few years ago.FB_IMG_1484102501669.jpg FB_IMG_1484102516167.jpg FB_IMG_1484102509195.jpg

Man... No wonder I'm a hoarder!

Yeah. But I really think Mr Grimsley freeloaded his way into a new home and name. He was making it easier for me to find a place to rent. Many landlords don't want pets.

I'll miss him a lot though. I hope he's happy.

My move 2+ years ago yielded me cat-less as well. As soon as the moving truck was fully loaded he bailed. I moved 300 miles away. I came back to visit 6 months later & walked the neighborhood at about 12am, called his name once & he waltzed out of the bushes right to me. He's with me still.

I had a metric $hit-ton of bike garbage accumulated from the 20+ years I lived/raced in the Bay Area. I had no idea why I kept such crap. It just made way for new crap, mostly music gear now. All my belongings are in a 10X10 storage now. I'm really trying to whittle it down.

I have been in the same house since 1979.
There is so much stuff everywhere that it is mind boggling.
I can't imagine moving it. There would have to be a purge.
A while back I started putting stuff on E-Bay instead of
throwing it away. Best idea ever.
