Bidgood’s Supermarket in St. John’s buys moose from hunters and sends it to nearby Morris Foods to be processed into bologna, then brings it back to sell.

I have yet to taste it, but according to friends, it’s bloody damned good. In St.Johns Newfoundland Canada, moose are very plentiful.

Any Deer Balogna I have ever had made up is some of my favorite parts about the benefits of deer hunting. I hear Moose is exceptionally good meat too.

Oh yeah. Deer make excellent summer sausage. Used to work with guys that hunted. Every now and then I’d get a tube or two. Always enjoyed it.
