Can't wait to see it and read your story of how it all goes down! I'm building another one myself. It will be a complete Black Out. Not a part on it other than the strings will be anything but Black!

Here is my neck. I'm going to oil up the board and get it as dark as I can.

sweet neck..that might be the weak link of my build, I found neck on CL for $15 and challenged myself to see how good a guitar could be made. $168 total,

it just might, i got black tuners & black string tree, black jack, black bridge, black neck plate, black guard w black pups. Its a burst body with a lot of black on edges, not much burst color will show, has a nice grain tho.. almost wanted to relic it,,but darn it looked real good with all that black on..

That humbucker and tone pot issue just goes to show why Strats are 3 single coil guitars for me...
