Cut to shape with primary grind. The ones hanging are very thin and will be heat treated prior to any further grinding. The rest will be profiled and have much of the bevel ground in and then heat treated. The pin holes must also be drilled before heat treating or I'll kill a couple carbide bits trying to drill through hardened steel!

Grinding after heat treating is time consuming due to the hardness the blade develops. You also have to be very careful not to overheat the blade and ruin the temper.
