A little nervous

A while ago I posted in a local Facebook musician group looking for people to jam with once a month. Our first jam is Saturday. I specified blues / blues rock. I had an eclectic group reply. There were a classically trained pianist, a saxophone player, another keyboard player, a singer, a drummer, and of course a couple of guitar players. The drummer has access to a church space with drums and PA on site. With such a weird mix not sure how it will go. One of the guitar players says he's bringing a bass player. I haven't jammed on guitar since I started playing bass so I'm a little nervous. Looking forward to it though.

I’m told it’s like riding a bicycle. You’ll do great.

Thinking back teaching a class at the University one of my students was the leader of the big band their drummer
was in a near fatal accident I had only played drums for a few months had a great teacher I was asked to fill in
nervous I puked my guts out when I seen the band 65 members thank God they had drum charts I played with the band two years
then the original drummer was on the mend and went on to play drums with the Dixieland Jazz band my wife had a thing for drummers
