Well today would be my belated wife's birthday. She was born on June 22, 1976 so she would be 42 years old. I just wanted to dedicate this day to her because she was such a wonderful wife and a very giving and generous person to others. I would say that she lived a good life even though she passed away at such a young age of 38 years. She was my true companion and better half & she always loved music. She had lots of friends and they are probably celebrating her birthday today also. I would just like to say to you all cherish the moments with your loved one because you never know if their time will come. Love the one you're with.

Thanks for all your replies and they all sure mean a lot. Since my wife's Birthday is almost coming to a close here's a virtual freshly baked chocolate birthday cake for her. She loved chocolate.:)

Well, black. Even though we never met in person I can't help but feel that her years on earth and her time with you was a miraculous treasure and she is still giving you daily treasures in your sobriety.

Thanks me little BIG buddy. You said some real good words in your post and she always said to me that she was my blessing and I would say you're absolutely right! I feel that she is real proud of me being sober and life is real good that way as long as I keep it up. She's my guardian angel watching over me and I keep a picture of her in my wallet to have her close to me at all times. I still have my wedding ring on and never took it off since. And a BIG hug back to you chili bro.:)
