8 bar blues backing track

The other day when @12Bar joined the forum I joked about playing 8 bars instead. I realized I had never tried to play an eight bar blues. It is trickier than I thought. Here's my attempt at a backing track then my attempt at lead. I played all the instruments with the exception of the pre-programmed drums. If anyone wants to attempt it the backing track is downloadable. The chords are:

| G | G | C | C | G | D | C | D |

Nice, like 8 bars actually.

When i make songs, trying to be conventional & true to structure..need about 13 barrs for the extra notes on the turn around..lol even tho it already seemed like forever to get there
I’m notorious when practicing at home. No one else to impress. If I need an extra measure or a couple notes to get it all in.... I just add it. Who’s gonna know but me? :pound-hand:

Nice job. Both tracks. If only I knew what and how to use them.
The backing track has a download symbol near the top right. Click on it and it will download an MP3 file. You can play along with the MP3 just like any other backing track.

I should have rephrased. Even if I have the file, I’m still in need of the talent to use them.... which is an issue here.
