I saw those. Hard to beat that; I was figuring if I did get a Gibson it would be a used SG special in the $500. range.

The rear shot of that looks like the neck is clock-eyed.

Good price for an under-rated guitar. I prefer the 2016 special faded to the 2017 or 2018.

More glossy finish, uglier knobs and no roundy thing under the selector switch on the 2017s...

I've always liked the 2011/2012 Gibsons, and the 2016s seem pretty similar. I like the locking tuners 57 in the neck and nice case on the 2017 standards though.
