Nice fat neck and US made, built in Nashville. Still seems crazy to me.
I guess these are rare, but are they really worth as much as a Gibson?

Wow, that is a lot of coin!
I paid about the same for my Epiphone Elite SG '61 RI as a Gibson SG Faded is going for used. I struggled with the decision but in the end, the Epi felt awesome.
Not anywhere NEAR $2600USD though!!!!!!!

AND TO BE CLEAR--- I LOVE EPIPHONES -- have owned many -- have 2 now-my Silverburst Les Paul Custom being my longest owned guitar to date going on year 8 I believe....or is it 9--- anyway in MANY instances I have preferred the Epi OVER the Gibson model.

But that price is a bit outta whack --

I'd have to really want it and look into it for provenance. If there really were only 250 made, that point would have to mean something from a collector standpoint. I mean, it's not crazy money if it's actually trading at a fair price and will continue to go up in value, but I'm quite certain it was built right alongside the '93 335's and is probably identical other than the headstock and appointments, so the smart investment bet is usually on the Gibson. Thing is, I don't own a semi-hollow because I don't want a semi-hollow, so this is for the person that maybe really wanted one and missed out when they were first available and wants to keep it for the long haul.
