100-V-700-V10k

I prefer the sound of the Fender of these 3.

Usually, I shy away from very cheap guitar gear, but I had a $100 Harley Benton bass which was decent, nice even - nice to play and sounded fine. My bass teacher at the time had a US standard precision bass, and it was really really nice.
 
his editing and presentation of the 3 is EXCELLENT IMHO--
I like all three -- but I DO NOT see the 10K (or hear) the 10k difference.....
 
I like them all -- to me they all sound good -- though I think he could play a 1 sting bathtub bass and make it sound good---
but the tone/sound difference from 100. to 10k is not IMHO worth that kinda scratch ---

its not a "oh that is CRAP"-- oh that sounds GREAT difference--
 
I like the 100 best fo rthe slap stuff
the Fender for most the rest -- the 10 k is nice and might be a valuable tool for a pro/studio guy-- but
