10 more expensive than a car geetars----

Yeah, they didn't do much for me either. In fact I would rather keep my stable that might cost as much in total as one of the cheaper ones in that list.
 
Thanks Steve.its a partscaster Strat i put together here couple months ago piece by piece.Ill give ya a run down list. Solid Alder body with 1 Humbucker route with a Floyd Rose route i got from a outfit off ebay. was perfect out of the box.Smooth as glass. its a true oil finish.New is a 1987 new in box B Hefner Licenced Fender big headstock maple Strat neck with the nut routed for a R4 Floyd locking nut.a real EVH Frankinstrat pickup. Real chrome Floyd Rose 1984 spec reissue Trem. 1 CTS 500k ohm pot with a Sprauge .010uf orange drop hooked to a tone cut switch. Fender American Vintage tuners.

I used to look at B. Hefner's website when I was Strat hunting. Always looked like they had top shelf stuff.

I bet it just screams, outstanding.
 
I didn't really expect anyone to go acoustic, but I would. I've already had a Custom Shop Stratocaster and a Gibson Custom Shop R8
and neither of them really thrilled me for the $5K
