Bum tubes are a bummer. I just got about 1 hour of competent play out of a set of JJ 6CA7s (in place of the usual EL34s for a bit more warmth) and 10 hours at decreased volume despite my bias being right in the safe level for tube life on this Marshall JVM. I have done alright before this...
