I found it tedious to hunt for the right price on a budget semi-hollow. So, while China direct purchases can be a gamble, the payoff can be big. With any luck, I will get something that looks like this in 6 weeks

So, from China via eSGEe and some horse trading I've got my first Chibson. Haven't plugged it in yet, but it looks nice and seems to have a decent vibe, etc, when played unplugged. Here are some pics:
