I had this Silver Sparkle Duo Jet in my stable for years, but sold it about 2 years ago to help fund another purchase, I really enjoyed it, good feel, distinct tone and surprisingly held tune even with the Bigsby, kinda wish I still had it, but on a a quest now to find the elusive Black Penguin...

My oldest daughter who I haven't seen in almost six years just surprised me by having me come down to New Orleans for a week for my birthday! Not only that, but I'll be coming home with this!!! 1968 Fender Deluxe that's been sitting in her home for like forever. It belonged to her husbands...

So I've been thinking about downsizing my amp rig (More on this later.) It'd too big, too heavy and I'm old, I can't move this stuff anymore. Anyway, I've been checking out smaller rigs 20-30 watts, 2x12 cab, maybe a combo, I don't know yet. I've been looking at Soldano, Bogner, Marshall...

I not a fan of those I've had a few Les Pauls and one Robot SG (There was a review I wrote about that on ETSG, but it disappeared when Alex took over.) with them, I always swapped them out.

It's nice to see new talent emerging especially a 21 year old female singer, song writer guitarist that actually has a vibe! (y)
