I just read this, get well soon Phil. I've opened for UFO on numerus occasions, great band, great guys to work with. Dear all, this is to inform you that the October run had been cancelled! Last week Phil suffered a heart attack. He has had an operation placing stents into two arteries...

I grew up in the Fox Valley area, St. Charles to be exact. Going back up there in Sept. for a visit, been over six years since I've been there.

I talked to Terry about s month ago, he's doing well, he's been out and about playing and just enjoying his retirement. (y)

Unfortunately some of the members that were cut usually had a lot to offer, Six String (Terry Anderson) for example was instrumental with helping me out after I took over ETSG, but time marches on and a lot of the guys from there that moved here are pursuing other options and venues.

Going to be taking a trip back up North next month and didn't feel like lugging the big board around so I did this......

I get a little nervous (In a good way.) when I see this....Opening for UFO @ House Of Blues - Chicago.

My pedalboard was huge and weighed a ton!!

After playing a couple gigs down here in smaller venues I have come to the conclusion that I'm an idiot. :facepalm: Why am I lugging around a 4X12 cab, a very heavy Bogner head and a giant pedalboard with no help at 68 years old? Makes no sense, so I have down sized to this, a Marshall JTM 30...

I had it done a few back, it was like night and day, easy peasy! Good luck!
