You may have seen my 18w TMB build; a turtle without a shell.
I should have learned to play Gimme Shelter.

Its just a kiss away.
From my mom; she has no more use of drawers nor their contents.

And so, 2 will become as 1.

A little too tall
(I could lose a few pounds)

Cut down, corner joint and rear panel cleats in.

My bad didnt pick a clean edge for the exposed top of back panel.
May or may not do something about it.
I new it would be close on placement of the long cut; it is a bit too close to one of the pots.
The route near the middle is too deep; not my best work.

El Cheapo Ebay handle to match speaker cab; rubber feet inbound.
Still have to decide on the front.

Very cool and excellent job. I nice strip of veneer from Home Depot or Lowes might work on the bare piece...

Thanks,
I have some maple veneer and maybe some good contact cement.
Just not sure how far I want to go time wise.
most likely some filler and paint for the edges.

VERY COOL
ANd well done on the repurpose! So I have heard of women tone--- perhaps this amp has MOM tone???

Nice work! I like your style sir! That warm glow staying visible, is a great idea...

Whatcha vapin on there?

Thanks Don!
Plus I get a little reminder of mom.
Dunno if you caught the beginning, that was the end table from her bedroom furniture.

eesge suggested it may have the mom tone, similar to the woman tone.
i like that.
I was stumbling around with Sunshine of Your Love on it with the Ibanez HB semi hollow yesterday.
Wasnt serious about it but just rolling the both tone off and back on the bridge vol a bit gets into the neighborhood.
Read that somewhere.

funny I didnt notice the vape cameo in some of the shots.
the vape keeps me off the cigarettes; I'm not an enthusiast.
I'm down to 6mg and and gonna start blending in 3mg with it.

Yep, I read the whole thread. I was happy to see you do this, and I think it’s an impressively good idea!
I’m with you on the vape front too. I haven’t lit a cigarette since January 2010. I bounce around between 3 and 6mg...depending upon driving conditions, and work load.

Nice re-purpose project, man - I like it. I don't imagine there are too many other amp cabs out there that look like one you got there...

Nice work! That computer casing idea was very clever.
Thanks Ray.
It's not so much clever as it is looking at things simplistically, outside the box, or without the box maybe.
The constraints of defining what something is limits the creative thinking of what it could be.

That is my definition of clever!
