Buckethead Les Paul Dimensions:

Does the one on the right have 2 kill switches?

Yes, but I wouldn't use any of that This was just a photo I found on the Internet that shows them side-by-side. My project would only use the bigger "Bucket-Style" body, but everything else would be 24.75" standard Les Paul, except it would use a 12 string shape/profile neck...

If I actually commission it, this would be Von Herndon #27... :)

uhm..........so dude takes a boat anchor and turns it into a SHIPS anchor..........perhaps his bucket is too tight?

27" scale? ........you will have lots of extra real estate with a 24" scale...........whatcha gonna do with all that prime ground ? Sell Advertising rights?

Maybe install a fake smoke and fire "gimmick" like ol Freaky Frehley? smuggle contraband? or a small band of contras?

Ooh!
Let's take a Les Paul and make it even heavier!
What an elevator doesn't go all the way up brain dead idea.

...and I thought dodos were extinct...

Not exactly, it actually weighs less than my Mom's 1979 15 pound Gibson Les Paul Custom.

It's not the weight that bothered me about a Les Paul. It's the overall size being too small for me. My main guitar is 12.2 pounds and I play 2 hour sets standing, so I doubt this would be much heavier than that...

I'm a pretty big dodo....no plans on becoming extinct just yet...

People said the same thing about my Von Herndon set-neck Tele-esque project guitars, but I sold all of them... :)

LOL!!! No, I wouldn't use the 27" scale, just the bigger body....

Details from www.gibson.com

The Buckethead Signature Les Paul's neck is carved to its own custom profile that runs from .870" at the nut to .955" at the 12th fret, with a 1.715" nut width.
