I prefer to use an old black bedsheet that my dog ripped. Plenty of
fabric left for more cabs if I so choose. It was a Queen. Long live the Queen.

Black cotton bedsheet is well known to increase tone quality and sustain...
Of course it is. Especially if there's been plenty of rock an roll activity on that sheet...
But it's also well known that you must use a sheet with a thread count of more than 320.
Coarser weave gives a much cheaper sound, tinny highs and muddy lower midrange.

Very nice! Did you do the dovetail work on those cabs?
