OCD Pedal Question:

To me, 1,100 sq. ft. is huge. That's like 33' x 33'!
WOW ! That's a lot. It sounds so big when you say it like that. May I divide the lock, stock and barrel by 12 ? I really need to practice my numbers. Printing with a pencil is good brain jumping jacks. Shake up your brain.

That's a good point. That is a huge room for a practice space! I have never been that lucky, usually tripping over everyone else.
Robert, in there a cab makes a lot of sense, even a 1x12 extension under your combo amp. The perceived volume will be greater but you will be able to turn down and not rip everone's head off to be heard. Just my opinion.

Robert you did a fantastic job on your studio. You need never defend your creativity. For recording I have a couple guitars tuned to open G. Yes Stoned of course but several works in both Chicago Blues and Delta Blues. I think slide sounds to tight in standard tuning, traditionally blues is a little loose and sloppy just like me. I only take one, maybe two guitars for out club dates. Recording and playing for fun I have 5 to 8 guitars on stands. I do most of my playing in my basement and about 20% in the studio or in reality an old broken down storage building we paid pennies on the dollar. That place is close to every one. Tia started several bands between Pittsburgh and New York City. No neighbors means no cops. The local kids get to use it and by being friends with these maniacs mean no broken windows. They keep an eye on the place. Why did the diverse band cross the street? Because of outstanding warrants! Take a little piece of a donated heart.

Yeah, this^^^^^^^^.

Advantages: you can collect multiple 1x12 cabinets suitable for any occasion.

I was fine with the 50 watt 1x12 combo amp alone...but the additional 1x12 cabinet made for a positive change in sound and feel for full band, live use.
I have two cabs that are compatible with that combo amp, and they both sound great. The Orange with a WGS Green Beret is my favorite though.
