Bogner Front.jpg Bogner Signature.jpg When I took delivery of my Bogner 20th Anniversary Shiva I noticed a small dent on the foot switch. So I called Bogner ( This is my third Bogner and had talked with them before.) told them about the dent and also had a question regarding the indicator light, It doesn't come on right away, it comes on like a tube warming up. Joe, who pretty much runs the show was very cool and told me to send it back, no problem. Regarding the light, he told me to hang on a sec and the next person I'm talking to is Reinhold Bogner....now it's getting very cool! He explains he designed it that way so you know when it's ready to play.

I get the foot switch today, unpack it and discover that Reinhold signed it!
I love this company!

Apparently the pic's are to big so I'll have to reduce them and post them later.....

Nice speaker cab. I know of a 100 watt head looking to be mated with one of those.

John, I bought three of them back in the early 70's for around $350.00 each.They were one off's, came with black grill basket weave grill's and actual mounted in cab handles, each handle had a small dent in them and the Music Store just wanted to unload them. Sold two of them and they are without a doubt the best cab's I've ever owned. They have a small port slot on the bottom and weigh in at about 110 lbs. This one in particular was in our warehouse that I used to rehearse in, one night I came in fired up the amp and no sound, opened up the back a found a mouse nest in it, the mice had chewed all the paper off the cone's the Fane's to make it! I found a set of pre- Rola Celestions and put them in.... wow!, what a difference! Better than before, I'll NEVER sell that cab!! If you can find one, grab it! but be warned, you'll pay for it.

I'm on the hunt for the last couple of cabs to finish off my collection. One would be a Hiwatt, and I am prepared to pay. I know that up front. The other things I need are one or two 1982B Super Lead Bass cabs with the 55 hz speakers. I have a '72 with those speakers, and it's a killer. It's much better than the '75 checkerboard with 75 hz Green Backs or the two Silver Jubilee cabs that I have. If I find the right cabs, then I'll probably sell the two Jubilees. Then, I'll have two Marshall stacks, a '70 8x10 for my JTM-45, and a Hiwatt half stack (along with the other random amps).

If you find one, make sure it's not a front loader, the sealed back with the port makes a big difference.
