Simple jazz tunes, trying to prep for a jam on Thursday night. I’m sitting in with cats who can play way better than I. It’s gonna be a trip.
I tried. Twas not a G400 night but once again the Blue Strat was the axe of the day. The Epi just wasn’t doing for me tonight.

This weekend I finally got a chance to clean the National Reso-Lectric. Cleaned the pots and preamp. Removed, cleaned, and polished the resonator cover and tailpiece while blowing all the dust out of the cone. Polished the frets, oiled the fingerboard, installed new batteries and a set of John Pearse 2600 (.011" set) strings. Sounds and plays pretty good. Have it tuned in open D so I can try to remember how to play "Little Martha."
