Whats your lightest electric guitar. ( No Acoustics )

All my 3 Flying Vs are light, also my Gibson SG Jr. is light - even lighter than the Vs.
My Strats are almost or more than double the weight.

My Charvel is one heavy beast but it sounds heavy and in your face.
My most resonant guitar is my white Flying V which is a feather weight at slightly above 3kg and my SG Junior which is about the same weight as my Flying V and it really sounds alive.
My Blackmore is about 4kg and it really has all the good things combined.
Heavy guitar - I don´t care much about that I can stand the weight and I always use big and wide straps with heavy guitars, it helps.

But I really prefer a Flying V - that is the best guitar on stage and at home. I just feel comfortable using it.
My SG Jr. is killer guitar but it doesn´t get enough playing time. Even blindfolded I would pick up the V.

Life is good,
Robin

This age-unknown cheap imported Dean VX that I bought for $90 at a pawn shop a few years ago.

I have no idea what it weighs—I play my guitars, I don’t weigh them—but it’s definitely lighter than my Strat, my G&L or either of my two Telecasters.

Goofy, over-the-top and a weird head on it…but enough about me, here’s the guitar:

^ I added the “poker chip” selector switch indicator…I had some made (by Greasy Groove) that said “RIP” and “ROAR” (indicating the bridge and neck pickups, respectively)…I like little flourishes like that.

I bought it because I always loved the looks of Flying V guitars, but wondered about how comfortable they’d be to play. I shouldn’t have worried—I find the design comfortable, balanced and easy on my (surgically repaired) neck and shoulder. At some point, I’d like to get a “real” Korina-bodied Flying V, but this scratches that itch for the time being.

Originally, I thought I’d hate the headstock, but I’ve come to like it—it’s weird and funky, but it isn’t as much of a distraction as I thought.

I'm down to four electric guitars and one bass now.
But I love to show them off anyways.
Pictures... or it never happened, eh?

The lightest: (and my favorite)

Luna: 2007 Gibson SG faded spl... 6.75# ...3.06 kg
Luna Body@100.jpg

Two more of mine are about even at 7 pounds each ...3.2 kg

Catalina: 2012 Gibson SG special silver burst 7#
Caledonia: 2014 Epiphone ES-339 blonde bombshell 7#

The heaviest 6 string guitar I own is my '06 Tele Deluxe replica
Snow White 2006 MIM Fender
weighs about 8lb, or 3.6 kg

NONE of these excellent instruments is heavy enough to cause me any distress.
My heaviest instrument is my beloved Warmoth fretless J-Bass
Luretta weighs about ten pounds... 4.5 kilos
but she's worth it. She's got that m-whah sound.

These are all well loved, in spite of me saying that Luna is still the Queen of my guitar rack
after all these years of great service. I love playing all of them.

I still look at this, and wonder why I haven’t ordered one. I’m always torn between the bass and guitar models. Their short scale headless design looks so cool to me.
It's up for sale. I need to move some gear. Trying to get down to one electric, one acoustic, and one bass. With cross border shipping it would probably be cheaper buying one direct from Dave.
