NGD Epiphone JJN Gold Glory Les Paul Custom

Friggin Awesome BFT.What you think ?.Only real gripe i had was some of the binding felt like they didnt sand it smooth but it dont bother me.
Did first neck 1/4 turn & lowered bridge. I like it, looking it over it is very nice. Yes, i agree , typical Epi binding edges but they play great.

The tone & volume control have massive tonal sweep & used in tandem very wide range of tone

TIP- learned watchin Keef talking about his old yellow LPJ..he said pick a few frets up where body meets neck for neck pickup tone. It sure does work been using on all my guiters ever since heard that ! Really makes the single pickup guitar have many more sounds. This makes me wonder why did i get rid of the 2019 Gibson LP DC p90. Every time get into heavier music all that type stuff goes like a never ending cycle.

I got 5 great guitars here but seriously that thar JJN Lester Custom is about all i play anymore it plays that good.Ya 50s style neck on mine to but its perfect im tellin ya.

Reporting back after maybe the most time ever spent fussing with a guitar. Out of the box it was the first guitar ever got bowed back. 3rd fret was slightly clanging upon fretting. I love to do set ups, meaning slowly over time till its spot on . Never had one bowed that way. So started neck process but the bridge was a mile high & pole pieces completely screwed in on pickup.

Believe after 7 times now action is right on. Never afraid to bottom strings out & work neck & bridge till its to satisfaction, Only way found to tell if if i like it super low then work from there.

Well recto shows up & this thing was sterile, Marshall & Fender just fine but they both sloppy type amps. mesa , you will hear every string in a chord if you want to. Hours of adjusting the LP & today changed the strings..bingo,,, how nice it is with the pole pieces & action spot on. Guitar slays now, was just too shrill before but glad messed with it to this degree the reward is way worth the effort !

Glad they're working out for you and Johnnygoo. I bought one when they were first released thinking they would scratch a few itches, such as a LP Custom, Jr., and P-90. I couldn't deal with the bad unfinished finish, rough fretboard, and not wonderful setup. I returned it after five days.

I feel ya on that, kinda stuck with this just to see what could be done & oh my did i learnn about setting 90's up. Def like the adjustable pole piece, really could balance it out nice or chop a hair of top end off if needed.
